Stitch – social network for those over 50 years old

There is a social network specially designed for seniors and it’s called Stitch.

This social network is for those over 50 years old, and it is all about companionship. It helps its members to find new friends, a partner, or to explore new activities they can try.

Stitch which is headquartered in Australia is available for free, but there is also premium membership that costs $60 per year. Premium membership gives the users additional features such as member-to-member phone calls, unlimited profiles views, and more. About 10 % of those who sign up turn to premium membership.

Stich cofounder Marcie Rogo described Stitch as “a unique and vibrant social network with the ability to meet other like-minded people through member-driven group activities, travel, and one-on-one companionship.”

According to TechCrunch, this social network has more than 20,000 active members, and more than 50 active communities. Independent.ie reported the company recently released the data that shows many of those who signed up seek for romance. But, Stitch is more than just a dating site, because many members host all kinds of group events, such as trivia nights or wine tasting.
