Sony Xperia XZ4 Full Specifications Out: Here’s all you need know about the Upcoming Sony Flagship
Thanks to the leak of a copy of the spec sheet of the soon to be launched Sony Xperia XZ4, there need not be any more rumors about the smartphone. Practically everything you wanted to know about the phone is already known now. Here are the highlights.
Key Specifications like Display, Processor and RAM
The Sony Xperia XZ4 will sport a 6.5 inch OLED display and as predicted by some sources, the display will be of the QHD type and again, as was being speculated earlier, the display has a tall shape with an aspect ratio of 21:9. There is the protection to the screen from the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
That’s as far as the display; the processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, supported by 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The Android Pie operating system runs the device and gets power from a large 4400 mAh battery. The Qnovo Adaptive fast charging facility is provided as well.
Camera Specifications Missing
Interestingly, this spec sheet located on the Chinese site of Sony Xperia XZ4 does not seem to have the all-important camera specifications. The earlier rumors had suggested there will be a triple camera setup on the rear panel of the device and their sizes must be definitely high-end and would be supported by the state-of-the-art technical features, with HD quality video recording and so on. The best guess has been that the combination will consist of a primary sensor coupled with a wide-angle lens and the third component could be a 2x zoomed FoV unit.
Launch Date Confirmed to be February 25
There seems to be no doubt on the date the Sony Xperia XZ4 will be officially unveiled. The invites for the February 25 event are already sent and it is sure to cover this device’s launch. As reported before, Sony has not made any mention of the model numbers of the smartphones to be released at the event.
The specifications now revealed and considered official don’t differ too much. Obviously, in another three weeks, none of these would be speculative but will be for real. Till then one has to wait.
