Sony Xperia XA3 Plus or Ultra may be sold in Europe at a price point of €519, according to a recent report. Sony Xperia smartphones have really not set the markets on fire and if anything, the company might only be seeing the decline of its market share. The onslaught by some of the Chinese brands has not spared anyone out there. But Sony seems inclined to march on regardless and one just heard about a number of its devices being lined up for release. There are some details available of the Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra (Plus) and a couple of other devices from the company.
Likely Specifications of Sony Xperia XA3 Plus
Based on leaks, it is being predicted that the Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra (Plus) will sport a 6.55-inch display with the aspect ratio being as high as 21:9. The information on the processor is still not very clear. Some sources had indicated that the phone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC. This may not be the case since the phone’s predecessor model, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, was powered by the same processor and you would expect that the manufacturer would use a more recent chipset like the Snapdragon 660 or 710 SoC on this phone. The RAM is likely to be in 2 variants, 6 GB and 8 GB with the internal storage at 128 GB. The battery under the hood is being predicted to be a 4300 mAh one. Based on these, one can say the processor will be higher than the Snapdragon 630.
As indicated, this phone is likely to be sold in Europe at €519. Whether this is for the 6 GB or the 8 GB variant is not clear now. One can only guess that it would be the lower 6 GB variant.
The Other Device (Xperia L3) Revealed
One more smartphone, the Sony Xperia L3 too has been sighted with specifications tad lower than the XA3 Ultra. The display is expected to be 5.7 inches and the aspect ratio 18:9. There may be two cameras in the rear. Sony has no difficulty when it comes to the cameras since it has in-house capabilities and most Xperia models are fitted with the best sensors and lenses.
It is expected that the Android pie, version 9.0 will be the operating system on these two new phones from Sony.
The Japanese company has been using the first major event in the calendar year, the CES to make official announcements and this year, it is expected to follow the same practice. So, come January, most of these details will be confirmed.
