Sony has released its Xperia XA device in June 2016 and in April 2017 it has brought us the Xperia XA1. Today we will compare these two smartphones and let you decide which one of them you want to purchase.
The Sony Xperia XA measures 143.6×66.8×7.9mm and weights 137.4 grams. On the other hand, the Sony Xperia XA1 is a slightly thicker and heavier as it measures 145x67x8mm and weights 143 grams. Both devices have a screen protected by a scratch-resistant glass with curved edges, an aluminum frame and polycarbonate back. Also, the available colors for both devices are White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold, and Rose Gold.
The two smartphones come with an IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 294 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The Sony Xperia XA features a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.0GHz, a Mali-T860MP2 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. The Sony Xperia XA1 has a Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, a Mali-T880MP2 graphics card and 3GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia XA has been released with an internal storage of 16GB, while the Sony Xperia XA1 comes with a larger internal storage of 32GB. However, you can expand the memory capacity on both smartphones up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The Sony Xperia XA sports a primary camera of 13MP that features LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 8MP. The Sony Xperia XA1 has a way better primary camera of 23MP that features phase detection & laser autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection and a secondary camera of 8MP.
Both smartphones are powered by a non-removable battery of 2300 mAh.
