1. First of all, turn off the Wi-Fi router and HTC One M7 phone and leave them for 30 seconds. Again turn both on and try the connection.

2. Delete the Wi-Fi connection from your HTC One M7 and then enter the details manually. Here is how to do that:

  • Go to settings
  • Tap on Wi-Fi under the Wireless & network option.
  • Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
  • Next, touch on the problem Wi-Fi network name in the Wi-Fi settings screen.
  • Tap on forget and the Wi-Fi network will be removed.

3. Some HTC One owners said that they have found a solution of WI-FI connection issue on HTC One M7 by turning the Wi-Fi off and turning the Airplane Mode on, then again, turning the Wi-Fi on and turning off the Airplane mode.

  1. thanks, the airplane fix did it. My wifi wouldn’t even turn on the phone just stayed on ‘wifi off’ with no scan or services. Was about to send back out of warranty! Also it was sticking on boot screen, which started happening at the same time. which i found removing the sim whilst on and replacing fixed.

  3. That means there is some problem with your university wifi. Is the connection dropping frequently or it does not connect at all.
