Skype Introduces A Share Button For Websites

Skype introduces a “Share Button” for the web.

Share buttons allow you to share interesting content you find on a website with your friends and family with ease. There are share buttons for different social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and more and today Skype introduces a share button as well.

“A funny cat video, a stunning picture, or an inspiring article… you can always find some interesting content online.  Halfway through the content, you’ve also already come up with a list of friends, family members or coworkers to share the content with,“ The Skype Team blogged.

Skype partnered up with MSN.com and sify.com in India, and if you visit these websites you’ll notice a Skype share button.

Every time you find an interesting content you would like to share with your friends and family, just click on the Skype share button, and when a new window opens, sign in and choose one or more Skype contacts and click Send. You can also add a message along with the link.

“For our developer friends with blogs and websites, you can also easily add the Skype share button to your site. Simply head over to skype.com to learn more and generate a code snippet today,” The Skype Team added.
