In Gmail Vacation Responder you can create the email template for the automatic response to the emails. If you want to set up this useful option, just follow the instructions:
Sign into Gmail.
In the upper right corner click on the gear icon and from the menu, select “Settings”. Then, click on “General” tab and scroll the bottom of the page and find the option “Vacation responder”.
Click on “Vacation responder on” to activate it. Then write the subject and the message text that your chosen contacts will receive as a response to their emails. In addition, you can include the information of alternative way the person can use to contact you during your absence.
Then, set the first day when your vacation starts. You can do it by clicking on “First day” option. You can also set the time when you want to stop auto-responding feature by clicking on “Last day”.
If you want to apply the vacation responder only to your contacts, put a check mark next to “Only send a response to people in my contacts”.
When you are done, click on “Save changes”.
