Gamers rejoice! It looks like the beta version of the game has finally come out ahead of the official release. The game is out for Windows 10 and Xbox One gamers and anyone is able to just download the game and play it as it is already out.

However, in order to play this game, you need to make a Windows Live account or an Xbox Live Gold one for Xbox.

What does this beta version allow you to do

First of all, if one wants to start playing this game they will have to create their character. If before the game was focused on finding treasure with your band of pirates you can now also take part in Merchant Alliance quests.

Do not be fooled! The game is centered on giving you a run for your money. You need to navigate the world better and fight your way through quests in order to get rewards.

What will the game be like on Xbox

The game is going to feature sharper textures and the resolution of the game is very high, going up to 4K. So far, there is no information regarding whether or not you can choose the resolution or frame level to your liking. Moreover, the game is going to take up almost 20GB. This could be a bad news for users that do not have a large amount of space on their consoles or on their PCs.

Why is the beta release so special

Compared to the alpha release of the game, the beta version of Sea Of Thieves allows you to share the wealth that you can collect with friends and family members. Yes, you are able to record your game sessions and share them. This is a good news for gamers that like to share their progress on Youtube or Twitch.
