With Apple being one of those high-end brands that almost everybody is interested in, it seems nearly humanly impossible to hide something away from the internet. And finally, the protective wall around iPhone 9 and iPhone XI Plus has slightly cracked, and we got a small glimpse of the schematics of these two devices.
The two schematics that we got our hands on refer to the high-end smartphone of the series, which people have decided to name iPhone XI Plus until further information is out and the most affordable option of the 2018 series, iPhone 9.
iPhone 9 and iPhone XI Plus schematics
The source of the schematics is not Apple, but this does not mean that the information or the source is not reputable. The same source that got us these Apple schematics has previously given us accurate schematics for the iPhone 9. This means that they must have some insider on the job, getting their hands on this confidential information.

Now, going back to the main topic of this article, we would like to start our discussion with the renders of the XI Plus. The phone will have a 6.5-inch screen, a thing that we have previously heard before. So far things check out. The size of the phone is going to be 157.2 x 77.1 mm, making it a little bit smaller than the size of the current iPhone 8 Plus. What the phone makes up for in size, it certainly compensates for in its weight. The device is going to be made from a steel chassis which will make it significantly heavier than previous devices coming from Apple and sturdier to boot.
Design-wise, not much seems to have changed from iPhone X to iPhone XI Plus, which means that we will probably get an identical design for the smartphone, with updates being made to the hardware and software parts. One of the schematics shows three circles on the rear end which some have associated with a triple lens, but it is likelier to be a dual camera setup and a flash.
This device is significantly bigger than the XI Plus, with bigger bezels and just one camera setup on the back end. It will come with a 6.1-inch screen, and the size is going to be 147.12 x 71.52 mm. From what we have talked about thus far, these schematics seem to be pretty accurate, but this does not mean that Apple will not make or have already made some changes to them in the meantime.
