Samsung’s Gear S4 False Rumors Unveiled – What’s True Out There?

There was a new leak about Samsung’s Gear S4 surfing the internet. This leak might have come as a confirmation that not every rumor heard about this device is accurate. Down below we can read some information about Samsun’s latest wearable.

Samsung, the South Korean technology giant, got us used to be announced in August when it came about its smartwatches. And by that, it would not have been an extended period of time until the fans could get it.

A few weeks ago a new image leaked which showed that Samsung has planned to rebrand its wearable. In its home territory, Samsung has registered a logo for “Galaxy Watch” which suggests that the Gear name is set to be replaced this year. A new hint that Samsung could be looking to tie its wearable closer to those devices consists in a screenshot of the logo showing a font very reminiscent of Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphones. Even though all Samsung Galaxy products are running on  Google software, it was actively talked about the Gear S4 running on Android Wear OS.

Evan Blass, a reliable tipster, stated a while ago that he has seen Samsung employees wearing the new watch and it ran Google’s software.

However, SamMobile’s recent report states that the smartwatch will run Samsung’s own Tizen OS instead right out of the box.

Samsung Gear S4 with Tizen and Bixby

So, because Tizen comes with a new voice control function, Samsung’s Bixby virtual assistant could make its way to the smartwatch when it releases later in the year.

According to Yonhap News, the grand unveiling of the Samsung Gear S4 might take place at Berlin’s IFA technology show. The history will continue as the Gear S3 was also unveiled at the event in 2016. The event will be held from August 31 to September 5.

The impatient fans expected the Samsung Gear S4 to make its debut along with the Galaxy Note 9 during Samsung’s “Unpacked” event on August 9.

These rumors are somehow dispelled by Yonhap who stated that the event from New York would focus on the Note 9.

Ice Universe added in a tweet: “The Galaxy Note 9 S Pen can be used to control long-range self-timer, control music playback, because it is a Bluetooth device, it will do something unrelated to the pen.”
