Samsung will debut its forthcoming flagship tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tablet S5 in August. There is a highly likely chance that the Galaxy Tablet S5 would release alongside the much-anticipated 2019 version of Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones.
According to the online sources, a new tablet from Samsung with model number SM-T865 was recently spotted during a benchmark test. The benchmark result suggests that the cutting-edge Snapdragon 855 SoC will power the flagship Galaxy Tablet S5.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 Specs
When it comes to the battle between the Tablet-PCs, the Galaxy Tab S5 is the only competitor to the Apple iPad Pro. Moreover, the Galaxy S5 comprises of a 6GB RAM for robust, lag-free processing, and it will feature Android Pie OS out-of-the-box. Speculations suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5 will support the new S Pen like its predecessors. The S Pen is one of the significant selling components of the flagship version of Galaxy Tablets and Note devices.
Rumors also suggest that the tablet will have a massive 512 GB of inbuilt storage paired with 6GB of RAM. Samsung has made a safe play by choosing the Snapdragon 855 as its SoC. The predecessor of Tab S5, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 came with an older SoC, the Snapdragon 835. The Galaxy Tab S5 will cost around 699 Euros; nevertheless, no other details are available as of now.
Samsung’s affordable tablet offering – The Tab S5e
In April, the South Korean giant released an affordable Tablet-PC – the Galaxy Tab S5e. The affordable Galaxy Tab S5e is powered by a mid-range 10nm chipset, Snapdragon 670; however, the Tab S5e is not bundled with the S Pen. The budget-friendly tablet has a price tag of 399 dollars.
The affordable tablet from Samsung, Tab S5e flaunts a vivid 1600 X 2560 resolution with a 16:10 screen ratio. The Tab S5e also sports a 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. Furthermore, it has two variants, the 128 GB ROM with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM with 4 GB RAM.
Samsung will release two Note devices alongside the Tab S5
The recent speculation confirms that the Galaxy Tab S5 will hit the markets around August. Hence, the tablet will make its debut alongside the flagship smartphone from the company. Samsung will release two variants of its flagship tablets, namely, the Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10 Pro. The Note 10 will sport a 6.2-inch display, whereas, the Note 10 Pro will boast a 6.75-inch display. Samsung’s Exynos 9825 chipset will power the two smartphones, but nothing is confirmed yet.
