Samsung Looks to Increase the Speed of the Galaxy S10, According to New Leaks

Samsung leads the industry in a lot of areas, however, when it comes to Android updates, it kind of falls behind. The company is well aware of this fact and it looks to change it with its next release, the Galaxy S10. Online benchmarking tools provide us with the latest leaked details which show us that Samsung is testing software that is more up to date than ever before.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Speed

We expect the Galaxy S10 family to be launched sometime early next year. Because of that, it is no surprise whatsoever that Samsung would test both the software and the hardware of the S10. If the hardware component might be on the last feet of the race, the software might be a completely different story.

The software can be updated and changed right before the launch date and even beyond this important step. The latter has been Samsung’s weakness in the past as rolling out updates to Android wasn’t exactly Samsung’s strong suit. Google, on the other hand, has taken serious steps towards avoiding such a problem. By implementing Android One, Google made a program that is capable of requiring fewer updates from the manufacturer and instead, all is done by Google itself.

Samsung can’t rely on Google’s idea, of course, as it has to stick with its own UI, Samsung Experience (the former TouchWiz). What Samsung looks to change is to make Android updates easier to embed by changing the OS’s underlying structure. Maybe that’s why we heard voices about how the Galaxy S9+ is running Android 9 Pie.

Why is that important? Well, for Samsung to run the latest Android version on an already released device it means that the South Korean company has increased significantly its development pace.
