Samsung has launched a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE that was initially launched in 2020. The new model has been titled Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 2022 and has been given an initial launch in South Korea. Though it has many similarities with the 2020 model, it is available at a slightly lower price. For the price point it comes at, the features offered by this device are quite impressive.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 2022 features a 120Hz AMOLED display screen, a 4,500mAh battery and triple rear cameras. At the moment, there is no clarity about the countries it will be launched in. Just like the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, the new device comes equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset. However, unlike the original model, the Galaxy S20 FE 2022 does not feature an AKG headset.
The price at which the smartphone is being sold is KRW 700,000 ($575/€525). A large number of buyers, however, should be able to procure this device at a carrier subsidized version. The design of the smartphone is visually appealing and it is available in three different color options, Cloud White, Cloud Navy and Cloud Lavender.
One of the device’s highlights is its elaborate camera setup. The triple rear camera setup comprises a 12 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The 32 MP front-facing camera should appeal greatly to those who like taking selfies.
Those who look for multiple connectivity options in a smartphone will not be disappointed. Apart from a USB Type-C port, this device supports Wi-Fi, 5G connectivity and NFC. As far as security features are concerned, you get a sensitive in-display fingerprint reader.
