Samsung Gear S4 to Come with Bigger Battery and Gold Variant

Samsung is not just working on improving its latest smartphones, but it is also working on developing new devices that they are set to release in other departments. Such is the case with Samsung Gear S4. So far, not much was known but it looks like a new set of leaks is going to give us some information. Yes, the company has stayed pretty quiet and tried to steer clear of leaks happening (since Samsung is known on the smartwatch department as a good brand) but now we have more insight into the matter.

Samsung Gear S4 Battery Life

One of the first things that we have been wondering is just how much is the South Korean company planning on improving their latest smartwatch. Since it is the next device in the Gear line, we already know that some of its specs are going to be upgraded from those of its predecessor, the Gear S3. We already know that the Gear S3 had a good battery life but when has a user said no to more battery life?

Well, a recent post coming from well-known tipster Ice Universe states the gear S4 is going to come with even more battery life. How much exactly? Well, the device is said to come with 470mAh battery which will be a significant upgrade from the Gear S3, which only had 380mAh battery on board. Yes, that is not going to make a dramatic difference once the day is over and you’re back in the comfort of your own home, but it could ensure that there are a couple of extra hours of battery life available if you need them. And even if we like to admit it or not most of us will probably use up those extra hours in a pinch.

New Device Variant

This leak came from SamMobile.  It reports that the Gear S4 is going to come in a new color variant for users. With the Gear S3, we only had to choose between dark grey Frontier or the Classic polished silver version. However, the Gear S4 is said to introduce three new design options, out of which one is going to be gold and another black. We can only assume that we are excited to see Samsung dedicate time and effort into adding more color options for their new wearable device and we are curious to find out what other secrets the company is hiding from us.
