Everybody is excited to find out more about the next Samsung smartwatch. Below we took some seemingly true rumors and discussed them all.
The next Samsung event is going to be on 9th of August and Galaxy Note 9 will be launched there, possibly along with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy smartwatch or Gear S4.
Keep reading if you want to know more and be introduced to the freshest insights available on the internet today.
Samsung Gear S4 vs. Galaxy smartwatch – a name game
Even though we are used to calling Samsung’s smartwatches Gear, they might change its name to Galaxy so that it will sound more familiar just like their phones.
Galaxy Club spotted a logo registration for Samsung Galaxy Watch, but there is no confirmation.
Wear OS vs. Tizen
Evan Blass, a well-known reliable leaker, said that Samsung employees were seen wearing smartwatches running on Wear OS, but soon an explication came and those were actually gifted by Google to them. Everything is still uncertain, but we will hear the truth soon.
Health tracking – a smartwatch that can monitor blood pressure
Sounds innovative, huh? Yes, the Samsung wearable seems to come with the ability to check blood pressure. As this facility featured on other Samsung devices, there will be no surprise for it to be introduced on the smartwatch.
Such health-tracking systems are becoming more popular day by day because brands seem to focus on fitness and health as well. Apple has also introduced this app and Asus will have a medical-grade version of it on its new VivoWatch BP.
Omron, at CES 2018, revealed the HearGuide smartwatch which uses an inflatable blood-pressure monitor wrist-cuff for that feature.
Relaxation and sleep are also on big brands’ minds.
Virtual assistant – Bixby or S Voice?
Bixby was launched pretty late on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, and it is yet to be seen if they will also replace S Voice on the wearable. SamMobile, however, says it will happen.
We know precisely nothing for sure about Samsung Galaxy Watch’s design, but we can guess it will have around the display, maybe a rotating bezel, less heavy and in different colors.
We can’t wait to share the news with you when we will get them.
