The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is the new Galaxy Fold 2 and with such strong rumors, it is difficult to dismiss them as mere claims. Samsung is taking a new route with all its new launches because it won’t be Galaxy S11 but S20 whereas the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are now considered the top-tier models.

The flagship phones are getting redefined yet again as Samsung, Apple and Motorola among other brands are moving towards the $2,000 price mark. Their foldable phones are as expensive as it could get while Apple always hovers above the $1,000 mark in the premium segment. While the iPhone SE2 will help the brand focus on the entry and mid-range markets, Samsung is focusing on Lite versions of their popular phones in order to keep the crowd happy with high-end specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processors are now being used in high-end phones that cost less than $700 and the trend is expected to continue a lot in 2020. Amidst all this, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is going to be the talk of the town because of the massive redesign the phone has undergone. Instead of a large book-type flip, it is now a clamshell phone that you can swap to close or push to open, similar to Motorola Razr phone.

The Unpacked event has been officially confirmed on the 11th of February and with just weeks to go, rumors are pouring in from all directions. Samsung is expected to launch a long lineup of multiple Galaxy S20 smartphones, approximately three of them, along with the Galaxy Z Flip which will be the foldable phone that enthusiasts are looking forward to.

Powerful Galaxy Z Specs

If you can handle the whoppingly high price tag of the foldable phone, Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone will be a beautiful experience especially if we are to believe these amazing rendered images of the upcoming smartphone. It sports a 6.7-inch display with a punch hole front camera with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. The Galaxy Z will also run on the latest Snapdragon processor with One UI 2.0 and Android 10 operating system.

In terms of camera specifications, the front will sport a 10-megapixel punch hole camera while the rear end will house a powerful 108MP camera with support for a 5X optical zoom sensor. The battery capacity is expected to be around 2300mAh or higher as it can house two batteries with 900mAh and 2100mAh capacities for longer battery life.
