Rumors are surrounding the next step in smartphone evolution, namely a foldable one, are growing out of control. It is easy to speculate to your heart’s desire when there is little official information available there. However, today we have decided to only talk about the most trusted pieces of information in order to give you a broad view of what you can expect if you want to buy Samsung Galaxy X when it comes out. If you are not interested in buying it, but you still want to see what Samsung has come up with then feel free to read on as well, we will help you get better acquainted with the product!

More details on the product

The device is said to come with batteries that will be between 3,00mAh and 6,000mAh. The foldable device is set to enter the production stage this summer, making 5he devices ready to be launched next year, possibly during CES 2019 if recent rumors are anything to go by.

Do not think that 2019 is the year where only Samsung is going to introduce this new form of technology. Other companies are certainly going to try their best and ensure that they come up with foldable smartphones as well. Now, since it is already the middle of 2018, it is only natural that we have started to hear more rumors about the device and what kind of revolutionary technologies it is going to employ in order for it to be genuinely foldable.

The foldable panels for the device are going to enter the production stage this summer making them ready for a 2019 release. OLED displays are said to be 7.3-inched in length, and when they are folded, they will shrink down to 4.5-inches. Another rumor that has started to circulate online is that the Samsung SDI has already begun to manufacture the batteries that will power the device. They will be pretty large, ranging between 3,000mAh and 6,000mAh. You might think that is too much, but when you take into account the fact that the screen is large and the device will need most of its power to light up the display, things start to make more sense.

Before you get in line to be one of the first people to buy the Galaxy X device when it gets out on the market, do remember that it will probably cost you two thousand dollars to get it. And since this is a new technology the price tag is understandable.
