Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) with Snapdragon 429 and 8-inch Display is in the Making

Samsung has launched its next Galaxy A series tablet namely Galaxy Tab A (2019). This tablet received a certification from the Bluetooth SIG and the certification confirms that the device has five variants. Among the five variants, four models are supported by LTE and one model is only supported by Wi-Fi. The model numbers supporting LTE are SM-T295, SM-T295C, SM-T295N, and SM-T297 whereas SM-T290 is the Wi-Fi only model. The four different models with LTE support are created for different regions.

The 2019 model of the Galaxy Tab A will support Bluetooth 4.2, as per the Bluetooth SIG Certification. Among the four models enabled with the LTE support, SM-T295 has also received a certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. The model is proposed to be launched with an 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi.

Specifications and the Pricing of the Galaxy Tab A (2019)

The specifications of the tablet have indicated that the tablet will sport an 8-inch display. Furthermore, it will have internal storage of 32 GB and will be fired up by a 2 GB RAM. However, when we compare it with the Galaxy Tab Active series, the current model lacks certain features like the rugged design, Near-field communication, and fingerprint scanner. It has been speculated that the tablet will not incorporate the S-Pen support.

Google has also substantiated the SM-T295 model of Galaxy Tab A as an Android Enterprise Recommended device. It has also been revealed that the device will run on the Android 9 Pie, as confirmed by the listing. The LTE backing will facilitate the buyers to make and receive calls directly from the device.

The device has also been spotted on the Google play Console, apart from being listed on the Android Enterprise Solutions Directory. The Google Play Console has confirmed a vast array of specifications as compared to the other listings. It has been confirmed that the device will comprise of an 800×1280 resolution with an 8-inch display. Furthermore, the listing states that the device will feature four Cortex A53 cores employed at 2.0GHz and enabled by a Snapdragon 429 mobile platform.

The tablet sports a front as well as a rear camera but no specifications about them have been revealed yet. The price of the tablet is not known, as they have not hit the market. However, keeping the specifications in mind, the tablet could be priced approximately at $150.
