The Android Tablets are not completely phased out as some believe because Samsung has got an interesting new product line up. The new models with the model names SM-T290 and SM-T295 were spotted recently among the list of products for EEC certification.
Information on such products usually emerges close to release date as the manufacturer sends them for certification and to ensure they clear all the tests conducted by different certifying agencies. The Eurasian Economic Commission was the first to leak about these tablets as they certified the product in the month of April.
It gave Android tablet lovers a ray of hope because Apple iPads seem to have dominated the market of late. If one wanted to buy a good Android tablet, there is very little choice available because Google stopped focusing on their Nexus range of Tablets. The choices are limited but Samsung Galaxy Tab A could finally fix the issue and give a powerful solution that one can rely upon.
In terms of hardware specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. It also sports 2 GB of RAM which we hope will get increased in some other variant. It is powered by a large 4980 mAh battery. Considering the limited specifications of the Tablet, it should easily run an entire day at moderate usage.
The main purpose of a Tablet is to watch movies, browse the web, make video calls and do shopping. The Galaxy Tab A sports a 7-inch display that provides enough screen real estate for one to enjoy their multimedia content on the go. The advantage is that it is still a compact display that is portable and easy to use.
Google Nexus was launched with the same 7-inch display while Apple iPad Mini went for a much larger 8-inch as its most compact version. The aspect ratio will vary based on the display size and this size best suits books, movies as well as most other games. Android has been pretty slow in optimizing content for Tablets recently.
However, with smartphones having a higher resolution than ever before, most apps and games should run great and look awesome on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It was also spotted on the Geekbench listing which confirmed that it runs on the newest Android 9.0 operating system. The device is expected to be officially announced and made available before the end of this quarter in different regions.
