Samsung Galaxy S9, Note 8 and A7 Software Update

On October 20th a security update for the Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S9 was released. Galaxy J7, J7 Prime, Galaxy A7, and Galaxy A8 will have an update as well.

Samsung Galaxy S9 updates

Samsung Galaxy S9 received a software update that improved the front camera and the official October 2018 Security Patch. In order to update the device, you have to go at Settings and scroll down to System Updates. The device will have access to Android 9 Pie Beta Program.

Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 and Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 update

Both Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A8 got the October 2018 Security Patch update. Head to Setting and scroll down to System Updates to download it.

Samsung Galaxy J7 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime updates

Both these devices got the October 2018 Security Patch update in India. There is a possibility to find this update if you own a Galaxy J7 and do not live in India as well, but it is not proved yet.

Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse

All Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse users, on Verizon, will be up to Android 8.0 Oreo with the new software update.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9

About a week ago Galaxy Note 9 received an update that improved the back camera. This update did not come with more changes or improvements maybe because it was the same as the one that got released earlier for Galaxy Note 9.

This device might have access to Android Pie Beta Program but first, you should get access Beta Program, which it can be found on Galaxy Apps app.
