Samsung Galaxy S11 Phones will Bring in 48MP Telephoto Cameras for Amazing Long Shots

Smartphones are no longer just phones that let you make phone calls or watch videos but are becoming photography powerhouses. While there is still a long time before they could replace DSLR cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S11 series of phones are rumored to feature a whopping 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

The result of this daring venture will enable users to be able to capture photographs with amazing zoom capability but never compromise on the quality of the output. Be it capturing content on a stage, a sports event or simply taking a long shot with a large group of people, you can be sure that the Galaxy S11 will capture picture-perfect photographs that stand out of the crowd.

The solidarity of this rumor comes from the fact that it has been leaked by Ice Universe on Twitter. Being a prominent tipster assures great reliability from media houses and it is no wonder we have to depend more on this being an actual specification because of his excellent track record. All the three models in the line-up including the Galaxy S11e, S11 and S11+ will feature rear telephoto cameras with at least 48 megapixels of processing power.

Taking a Leap from S10 to S11 Series

Samsung is about to take a huge leap because the existing flagship models feature just 12-megapixel sensors on the telephoto lens. Going for a 48MP telephoto lens is a major leap for the company but that is not the only area that will receive this major upgrade. According to further rumors, the company will also implement a whopping 108-megapixel primary camera that should drastically improve the quality of the photographs that you take.

Apple’s iPhone 12 which will be a direct competitor for the Galaxy S11 series of phones will have a serious competitor in their hand. They have to create photos that are exceptional in order to compete with S11 and also with the Google Pixel phones.

The big catch is the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S11 series phones. Most flagship smartphones have already reached the $1,000 price point which is a bad thing for customers as they have spent a small fortune to achieve the best available phone in the market. Having three powerful sensors on the phones shouldn’t make it too expensive so that buyers can still get the best of Android flagship at affordable pricing. The phones are expected to be launched on the 18th of February next year.
