Samsung Galaxy S10 To Become A Jewel for Selfie Lovers

It is rumored that Samsung, wanting to make its next flagship Galaxy S smartphone even better than the last one, is planning on bringing a radical camera overhaul in order to help Galaxy S10+ become a must-have of 2019.

Detailed information

Apart from adding a second lens to Galaxy S9’s camera, it was not a recognizable change from 2017’s model, however, it is a pretty fine phone. The Korean news site, The Bell says more lenses are expected to be added on the next year’s Galaxy S10+, featuring an impressive number of 5 cameras.

Selfie lovers, this is for you. To go along with the dual rear cameras that already feature on Samsung’s phone, the report claims the larger S10 model will be able to support a 120-degree field of view the new 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens placed on the back. What is even better is that the S10+ users will be able to take advantage of Samsung’s new addition, a second front-facing shooter for Portrait Mode selfies.

Even though it tries, Samsung is bringing a triple-lens array on the camera’s back it is not news. Huawei’s P20 Pro sports a similar system, even though it is unfortunate that that phone cannot be bought in U.S. And Apple also plans to introduce a triple-lens setup for a future iPhone. About those two front cameras, a few phones already have that these days and it is not a feature to die for. All those lenses will be probably stuck on Samsung’s edge.

Another rumor spreading is about LG that is also planning to put a trio of rear lens in its upcoming V40, however, we cannot say for sure what features the new third lens would come with. In conclusion, Samsung might be sent home by its competitor.

Release rumors

What is already widely known about Samsung is that it would typically release its Galaxy S lineup in February to line up with the annual Mobile World Congress conference, but, as the much talked about foldable Galaxy is also expected, the date might change as it will need time to shine.

But if you cannot wait until then, at least glaze over the Galaxy Note 9 reveal that is around the corner. On the 9th of August, a gigantic media event is planned for this specific Samsung model.

It all waits to be find out or…gossiped about.
