Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ Design Reveals 5.8 and 6.3-inch Infinity Display And Many Other Features
It is reported by Korean media that the design for the next flagship mobile phone from Samsung, the Galaxy S10, and the S10 Plus, has been finalized. Though the Korean smartphone giant company has just introduced the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, rumors and leaks about the next flagship from the company have started pouring in already.
No Foldable Display?
The leaks show that Samsung will continue to use the same Infinity Display for its design on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the S10 +. This was the design that was first seen in the Galaxy S8 and also later on the S9.
This puts an end to speculation about a foldable display for the Galaxy S10. Earlier, there were rumors indicating that Samsung would be bringing in a foldable display screen for its next flagship. In addition, there is also going to be no notched display for the next flagship smartphone from Samsung.
Galaxy X Rumors
Even earlier, Samsung had talked about the foldable display, and it was said that this display would be seen on the Galaxy X. It was later rumored that the Galaxy X would come with an OLED screen of 7.3 inches size. It could also, allegedly, be used as a tablet according to earlier reports on the Galaxy X.
All these rumors are now quashed, as the company is not offering a foldable display phone for its next flagship device.
Screen and Display
The leaks suggest that the Galaxy S10 will come with a screen display size of 5.8 inches and a bigger size of 6.3 inches in case of the Galaxy S10+. This implies that both these flagship devices will be bigger than the Galaxy S9 smartphones.
This also means that the increase in the display is just 0.03 inches for the Galaxy S10 compared to the S9 and 0.08 differences between the S10+ and the S9+. From this, it can be concluded that the upper and bottom portions of the device have been slimmed down in order to offer more display area.
The latest market trends in fingerprint readers is an under display type of technology and Samsung is probably bringing in this feature for the Galaxy S10 pair of phones. Qualcomm, along with Synaptics of the US and the Aegis Tech of Taiwan, is said to be creating this new technology for the Samsung Galaxy flagship devices.
There will also be 3D sensing features for the camera, both for the front and the rear cameras. Mantis Vision of Israel and Woodgate of Korea are producing this.
In another related news, DJ Koh, the mobile chief of the Korean company mentioned during the MWC 2018 that the naming pattern for the next Galaxy flagship phones could be changed.
Earlier, there was news that Samsung would be changing its numbering scheme and that the S10 will probably be called the Galaxy X.
Interesting New Features
The exciting new features of the next flagship phone, the Galaxy S10, and the S10+ is that they will come with 3D sensing camera which is front facing. This means that the face-unlocking feature will offer greater security. It will also enhance the AR emoji performances. Samsung seems to be following the footsteps of the iPhone X in this regard.
The second exciting new feature is to do with the fingerprint sensor. As mentioned above, it will be below the screen, according to news from The Bell in Korea.
Launching in 2019
The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ will be launched in the year 2019. Are you excited to witness the usage of the 3D cameras and many other extraordinary features on these devices?
