One of the things that separates Samsung from other tech companies is the fact that Samsung never seems to take a break from designing new products. The South Korean tech giant is always developing new smartphones and taking the industry by surprise when it decides to announce them. Luckily for us and other eager Samsung fans, the leakster known as “Ice Universe” on Twitter got his hands on a design prototype for next year’s Galaxy S10.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Design Leak
Even though smartphone leaks are not always proven to be true, we have to mention that “Ice Universe” somehow manages to be one step ahead of Samsung. The leakster has some insider source who provides him with pictures of upcoming Samsung devices and this helped “Ice Universe” to predict a bunch of not-yet-announced Samsung devices. Therefore, we think this new Galaxy S10 leak is reliable.
Bezel Less Smartphone
Samsung shocked the entire world when it launched the innovative looking Galaxy S9. The smartphone shipped with a bezel less display called Infinity which made it look amazing. Well, it looks like Samsung is planning to take things to the next level with Galaxy S10 because this new leak is showing us that Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone will feature a fully bezel less display.
Curved Screen and Bixby Button
Another interesting feature that we can take from the new leak is that Galaxy S10 will feature a curved screen. This makes the smartphone look sleek and it will surely be one of its key selling features. Talking about features, we should mention that the new leak confirms Galaxy S10 will still come with a physical Bixby button.
Where’s the Fingerprint Scanner?
Samsung was expected to equip Galaxy S9 with an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, Samsung decided that it wasn’t ready to do that yet because the in-display fingerprint scanner was deemed not secure enough. Therefore, Samsung opted with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner instead and this is the biggest complaint that customers have about Galaxy S9.
On the bright side of things, Galaxy S10 might be the smartphone that introduces the highly sought-after feature. While the leaked picture might not showcase the smartphone’s rear side so that we can see if there’s a fingerprint scanner or not, we can tell that Galaxy S10 will be all about the display and what better way to showcase that than with an in-display fingerprint scanner?
