Samsung and Apple are in a never-ending war when it comes to smartphones. The two companies are competing on a daily basis and their devices represent the best that Android and iOS-powered smartphones can offer. Samsung usually has the upper hand because it tends to listen to what fans are asking for and it implements features such as microSD support. However, Apple has taken the lead during this past couple of months after unveiling iPhone X.
Apple is Forcing Samsung to Create Unique Designs
The reason why Apple is coming out on top when compared with Samsung is that the Cupertino based tech giant has equipped iPhone X with an innovative design. Not just that, but Apple also removed the fingerprint scanner and decided to develop a special feature known as Face ID.
With that being said, Samsung is under pressure to deliver a similarly unique design when Galaxy S10 will be launched. Fortunately, it looks like Samsung doesn’t want to let Apple be in the lead and it will equip Galaxy S10 with a truly bezel-less display that’s paired with a hidden front camera and no physical buttons.
Galaxy S10 Leak
The latest Galaxy S10 leak comes as a courtesy of “Ice Universe” who is a leakster that has a good track record of predicting Samsung’s every move. The leak shows us that final design for Galaxy S10 and we have to admit that it looks amazing! The display is huge and the rounded edges give Galaxy S10 a sleek feel. In addition, the only physical button that Galaxy S10 will feature is the one for Bixby and it’s mounted on the right side.
Pop-Up Front Camera
The feature that stands out the most about Galaxy S10 is the fact that it doesn’t ship with a traditional selfie camera. In fact, there are no outlines or any other hints that point to an in-display camera, but we have reason to believe that Samsung will use a special pop-up system instead.
Obviously, the selfie camera is essential to any smartphone since it allows users to take pictures and use features such as video calling. Therefore, Samsung is surely not going to completely remove the selfie camera. In addition, Oppo Find X has recently unveiled and the smartphone ships with a unique pop-up camera system that we expect Samsung to borrow.
