Even though Galaxy S9 is currently ruling the smartphone industry, things are expected to change as soon as Galaxy Note 9 hits the stores. Galaxy Note 9 is the most anticipated smartphone of 2018 and the reason behind this is quite simple. Galaxy Note 9 will represent the best that Samsung has to offer and this means that it will be equipped with all the latest premium hardware parts and unique features that Samsung can get its hands on it.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Official Launch Date
The interesting thing about Galaxy Note 9 is that even though the internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations in anticipation of its launch date, Samsung doesn’t want to unveil anything about it. The South Korean tech giant loves to use the element of surprise and it never unveils important details about its smartphones before they are officially launched.
On the bright side of things, Samsung decided that it wants to get fans excited about Galaxy Note 9 and it announced the official launch date. Therefore, Galaxy Note 9 will launch on August 9 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event is being dubbed as “Unpacked” and rumor has it that Samsung is planning to also unveil Galaxy Tab S4 at the same time.
If there’s something everyone knows about Samsung’s Galaxy Note line of smartphones, then it must be that they all ship with huge displays. Galaxy Note 9 is not an exception to that rule and the flagship smartphone will be equipped with a massive 6.4-inches Super AMOLED panel that puts it in the “phablet” category.
As previously mentioned, the display uses Super AMOLED technology which helps it put out warm colors and a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960 alongside a pixel density of 514 ppi. Also, worth noting is that this is an Infinity display that features slim bezels.
Considering that Galaxy Note 9 will hold the title of being the company’s flagship smartphone, it should come as no surprise that Samsung is equipping it with its own-made Exynos 9810 octa-core CPU that clocks at 2.7GHz. However, this CPU will be available only on Galaxy Note 9 models that ship in South Korea.
Europe, US, and all other continents will receive a Galaxy Note 9 model that’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 CPU which offers the exact performances as the Exynos 9810. In addition, both CPUs are going to be paired with the whopping amount of 6GB RAM.
