Galaxy S9 is ruling the smartphone market right now, but that’s going to end when it’s bigger brother Galaxy Note 9 will arrive. It goes without saying that Galaxy Note 9 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2018, mainly since the expectations for it are set high because new leaks and rumors come out every other week. In fact, the smartphone has recently been spotted on GeekBench where it passed every test with flying colors.
The new Galaxy Note 9 leak shows us what the smartphone’s hardware parts are capable of. The upcoming flagship device scored a whopping 9,064 points in the multi-core test and 2,737 in the single-core one. This is super impressive and it confirms to us that Galaxy Note 9 will be one of the most powerful Android smartphones ever made.
Two Versions of Galaxy Note 9
The exciting thing about this latest GeekBench leak is that it also unveils that there are two versions of Galaxy Note 9. Although, this should come as no surprise since Samsung has made it a tradition to release special versions of its flagship devices in South Korea.
A couple of weeks ago, the US version Galaxy Note 9 which is powered by Qualcomm’s latest octa-core Snapdragon 845 CPU was spotted on GeekBench and the results were a bit different. The US version of Galaxy Note 9 scored 8,806 points in the multi-core test and a single-core performance of 2,411 points.
Exynos CPU is More Powerful
From the looks of it, the South Korean version of Galaxy Note 9 which is powered by Samsung’s own-made Exynos processor is more powerful than the processor what the rest of the world will receive. However, the difference in power is not that significant and most people won’t even notice it.
