Even though Samsung doesn’t want to confirm any Galaxy Note 9 rumors, the internet is buzzing with leaks about the highly anticipated smartphone. However, a new leak is confirming to us that Samsung has finished adding the final touches to Galaxy Note 9 and that the smartphone will hit stores sooner than expected.
Every tech company that plans to launch a tech device such as a smartphone in the US needs to get that device certified by the FCC. This is great news for smartphone lovers because FCC reports are public and everyone can access them if they leak out. With that being said, Galaxy Note 9 recently passed the FCC certification test and this means that the upcoming smartphone is going to launch during the upcoming months.
Expected Release Date
As previously mentioned, Samsung is trying to keep every vital information about Galaxy Note 9 a secret. Luckily, this is proving to be impossible for Samsung since details about the smartphone’s design, specs and launch date keep leaking out.
Therefore, leaks are pointing towards the fact that Samsung plans to launch Galaxy Note 9 in the US somewhere in August. Not just that, but Samsung has also been spotted renting out a huge arena in New York where the launch event will be hosted.
One of the most interesting things to come out of the FCC certification is that it showed Samsung is planning to launch two models of Galaxy Note 9. The two models are known as “SM-N960F” and “SM-N950F”. One of those models is going to feature dual-sim support and it will probably come with a larger internal storage space.
Since we are talking about Samsung leaks, we need to mention that an official press render showed us what we can expect from its design. Unfortunately, the design is nothing special and it looks just like you would expect it to. In fact, Samsung fans are outraged at this and some are even saying that they will not purchase Galaxy Note 9 because it looks too much like last year’s Galaxy Note 8.
Galaxy Note 9 will ship with a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED Infinity display that features a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960. The display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for additional protection. When it comes to hardware power, Galaxy Note 9 will destroy any benchmark tests because it runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 CPU.
