All reports discussing the possible features of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 seem to agree that this upcoming smartphone will lack any significant innovations compared to its predecessor. However, some rumors have been suggesting that the newest device of the Note line could have up to 1TB of combined storage. The recently leaked video, which was apparently made by Samsung to present the upcoming Note 9 and released by accident, seems to prove these reports.
What was revealed in the video
The leaked video was first spotted by SamMobile. In what is supposed to be an official intro video of Note 9, we can see the upcoming smartphone and its brand new S Pen stylus. The video not only presents a yellow Stylus and a blue variant of Note 9 but also gives us hints about the possible 512GB version of the highly anticipated device. This smartphone will have 512GB of internal storage that could be expanded up to 1TB in total. This expansion fits the pattern, as only a few months ago Samsung Galaxy S9 was released, supporting 400GB microSD cards.
What was not revealed in the video
Some of the rumored specifications did not appear in the leaked video. Many users have been wondering if there is any possibility of including 8GB of RAM, as some reports are indicating. Unfortunately, the video does not provide us with any hints. Also, there are rumors regarding a great improvement when it comes to the battery, but its capacity is not revealed in the intro.
The leaked video was removed by Samsung
According to SamMobile, since the video was leaked by accident, Samsung decided to immediately remove it from YouTube, as well as block all its re-posts. For now, they are available to see for all those who are interested in the appearance of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
What to expect from Note 9
Those who got excited after reading about a possible expansion of Note 9’s available storage, should rather not put too many expectations on the upcoming smartphone. Many sources, including the Verge, seem to agree on the fact that Galaxy Note 9 might not have any unique innovations that could make it stand out amongst the competition. However, there is always a chance that Samsung will surprise us. In order to find out, we must all wait for the Galaxy Unpacked event that takes place on August 9th.
