Samsung has already started sending out invitations to the press for its “Unpacked” event that will be held in New Your City. During this event, the company will finally announce its Galaxy Note 8.
The invitation comes with just two slim top and bottom bezels of the Galaxy Note 8 with no edges, which clearly indicates that the handset will come with the same 2:1 Infinity Display that’s already found on the Galaxy S8. Some previous rumors were suggesting that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a significantly larger top bezel, but it seems that proved to be just a hoax.
It seems that even if Samsung had some serious issues with the Galaxy Note7 last year, that didn’t have a big impact in the company’s sales or reputation. At first, many Samsung fans were quite disappointed, but after the company has released the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ the sales were going pretty well.
The Galaxy Note8 will actually be the device that the Galaxy Note 5 owners have been waiting for. Hopefully, this time this handset will not burst into flames.
When it comes to specifications, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with almost the same internal hardware that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have, such as: Snapdragon 835 chipset in the US or an Exynos 8895 CPU with 4GB of RAM, and a fully water-resistant metal and glass unibody design.
Reports have been suggesting that the Galaxy Note 8 will also come with a dual-camera setup, but there are rumors saying that Samsung might keep that for the upcoming Galaxy S9.
What are your thoughts about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8? Will you purchase it as soon as it hit the stores or will you wait for some reviews first?
