After the previous disaster that occurred with Galaxy Note 7 and its faulty battery, Samsung is ready to atone the mistake with the newest Galaxy Note 8, a device that could be the Samsung phablet.
The data leaked from Benchmark indicates that this smartphone was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat during its testing procedure and most likely to benefit from Samsung’s proprietary mobile software suite.
The new Galaxy Note 8 is expected to have a 6.3inch Super AMOLED display panel and an incredible surprise: 4K resolution compatibility. Why does a smartphone need a 4K resolution you wonder? You don’t know until you own it. Even though Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are the best team paired with the full HD 1080p resolution, those who are fans of Samsung Gear VR will be delightfully pleased when no pixel will be visible, especially up close.
It is also said about the Galaxy Note 8 to follow Galaxy S8 lead and feature a virtually bezel-less design.
There is still some debate regarding the processor that will be equipped on Note 8, a few saying the Snapdragon 835 is most likely to be the chosen one, while others believe a slightly more advanced Snapdragon 836 will be presented. The Korean model is anticipated to be fitted with Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 8895 chip.
Samsung officials reported that Galaxy Note 8 will not incorporate a fingerprint sensor due to its technical difficulty and various technical limitations such as security. It could be embedded within the display which would distinguish the Galaxy Note 8 from Galaxy S8.
When it comes to its release day, some debate that it will be unveiled at the IFA show in Berlin, while others believe Samsung will attempt to release Galaxy Note 8 ahead of the Apple’s newest product, iPhone 8. If the forthcoming generation of Galaxy Note is not prosperous, Samsung may want to reconsider putting the brand out to rest forever after what happened to Galaxy Note 7. We certainly don’t want another phone brand that will explode in our hands, pockets or to our ear.
