What about Samsung S8 Plus?

Some Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus owners, the newest smartphone released by the South Korean company is experiencing issues. This would happen only over a year since the Galaxy Note 7 scandal, when a batch of Note 7 batteries caused the phones to explode.

A new Samsung disaster?

Since the Note 7 disaster, Samsung did its best to regain buyers’ trust and to create quality phones. The Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 have been received very well worldwide and everything seemed to work out perfectly.

Now, a new issue seems to have appeared. People reported Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phones of refusing to accept charge. The issue is triggered when the device reaches 0% battery and switches off. When this happens, the devices do not accept charge and become unresponsive. This seems to include LED charging light.

A user posted a video depicting this situation. He is trying to revive a Note 8 phone, but to no avail. Some users even tried different charging cables and to reboot the device.

Samsung is already responding to the situation and a moderator responded that this is a situation which is better to be handled fast.

It is unknown so far how many cases exist so far, but until now devices being sold by Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile have been reported.

Samsung Note 8

This phablet smartphone has been released in September 2017 and it runs Exyos 8895 CPU/ Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. Note 8 has a Super AMOLED display of 6.3 inch and it features a dual-lens camera system. In the US and China the 64 BG memory storage version is available, while world-wide the device also offers 128 and 256 GB options.
