Samsung Galaxy Note 7 vs. Galaxy Note Fan Edition – What’s The Difference?

The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition finally came out, and it’s almost identical to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Fan Edition certainly has a few upgrades, as well as some downgrades. However, there are three main differences between them. Today we will discuss each one of them and see what’s new and what’s changed.

Bixby Assistant

The Bixby Assistant is a brand new addition to the Samsung program roster. The new Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition comes with it integrated. The Bixby Assistant first came out with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 doesn’t have the Bixby Assistant, as it didn’t exist back then, but it does come with the old Samsung Touchwiz.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also comes with the Bixbee Home and the Bixbee Reminder, so it truly does have the full package. But are the two assistants all that different? Well, yes. And the Bixby Assistant is the newer and superior one for sure.

Battery Life

As you all may well remember about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, its battery was disastrous. Some even went as far as explode and cause small fires in the homes of their owners, so needless to say that turned out to be quite the scandal. But the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition comes with a smaller and safer 3,200 mAh battery that passed they’re new and patented 8 point battery safety test.

Fan Edition Logo

As far as design goes, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition are identical. The Fan Edition was meant to be a carbon copy of the Note 7 anyway, so there’s no surprise there. But there is one difference here, the additional Fan Editio9n logo on the back.
