New phones from Samsung from “J” series have been launched at an event in India. The team formed between South Korean giant and Reliance Jio has promised to offer the buyers up to 120 GB of additional data. Moreover, the Samsung Pay service feature that Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ already have is also included to J7 Pro and Max as Samsung Pay Mini.
Notably, the company hasn’t shared the availability for online purchase yet.
Galaxy J7 Max and Galaxy J7 Pro come with slim body made from metal which doesn’t have bezel on either sides of the smartphone. The Home Button in the front comes with a fingerprint scanner and both smarthphones have color options such as Black and Gold. They also have a smart glow around the camera which alerts the owner for notifications.
Prices and release dates
The Galaxy J7 Max will have a startup price at Rs 17,900 when it will be made available via Samsung retail stores and through other offline retailers on June 20th. The Galaxy J7 Pro it said to be released sometime in mid-July and comes with a price tag of Rs 20,900. It will have the same available retails channels as the J7 Max.
Samsung Pay Mini
Samsung Pay Mini feature will make its appearance with the release of Galaxy J7 Max. It was created for smartphones which don’t have NFC built-in. It is a slightly inferior version of the Samsung Pay standard payment mobile system because it doesn’t have the regular “tap and pay” swiping machine for offline payments, but, instead, will support payments via UPI and mobile wallets.
