We already know that the Galaxy J7 2016 (SM- J710MN) has finally received the Android Nougat update in Russia and that the rest of the world should follow. It was about time that these phones finally receive Nougat since Android Oreo has been already released and it should become available for many devices.
Android Nougat arrives in South America
We were waiting for the new version to reach other countries and now it appears that the OTA has arrived in South America, in Trinidad and Tobago, more specifically.
Other South American countries should receive Android Nougat as well
Since this new update is meant for the SM- J710MN model number of the Samsung J7 2016, we have to notice that this model number belongs to more countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Venezuela and other surrounding regions. If your model number is SM-J710MN it means that the update will reach you soon.
Android 7.0 Nougat features
Nougat comes with plenty of useful additions like replies from notifications, Vulcan API for graphics, multi- window, an UX visual overhaul and more.
What you should know before installing the update
This Android update is a large one so you must be sure that your device is prepared. We already know that this software update will be more than 1 GB so you have to make sure that you have enough storage available on your phone. If you need more space you can delete some things that you do not need anymore such as old personal files or apps that are not used anymore. You should also have a battery that is at least half charged so that your device won’t turn off during software installation. It is recommended that you use Wi-Fi instead of mobile data.
