Samsung is already famous on the smartphones market, and needless to say they have lots of quality devices going around. Some of these are the Samsung Galaxy J3, the 2016 edition, and the J3 the 2017 edition. Both of them are great devices, but which one would you choose if you had to buy one?
Galaxy J3 (2016)
The older version of the J3 was released in March last year and you can get it in three color options: Gold, Black or White. It costs Rs. 9.790 and it presents a 5-inches Super AMOLED display. It is adequate for the hand, with the 143.2 x 71 x 7.8 mm dimensions. It weighs 138 grams and it runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It runs on a Spreadtrum SC983 chipset, together with a quadcore processor. Moreover, it has a Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 1.5 GB RAM. It offers 8 GB internal storage, which you can expand up to 128 GB with a micro SD card.
Galaxy J3 (2017)
This one brings a 5.0 inches LCD display, with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Its dimensions are 140.9 x 70.1 x 8.6 mm, and it weighs 148 grams. Unlike the other device, this one runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and on an Exynos 7570 Quad chipset. It also includes a quadcore Cortex A53 processor, plus 1.5 GB RAM.
It offers 16 GB internal storage, which of course, you can expand. This one comes together with a 5 MP camera on the back and a 2 MP one on the front. It’s not too much, but it’s really useful for an average phone. The best thing is that the main camera can shoot videos in 1080 p quality, which is indeed awesome. The battery on this one is a 2600 mAh one.
