It’s only been a couple of days since Samsung accidentally leaked info on two new phones (Galaxy A91, and A90 5G) by listing them on devices compatible with its 45W super-fast charger. And now in a recent leak, all details of the A90 5G have been revealed. In a recent leak on the internet, a retail box of the A90 5G was spotted, which revealed not only the phone’s design but also all key specifications. Although the launch date of the phone isn’t known yet, users were expecting these new additions to the Galaxy A series to launch in early 2020. But by the looks of the retail box leaking, it looks like the company is readying units for an earlier launch. In another leak on SlashLeaks, promotional videos for the phone were also leaked, which indicate towards an early launch.
Galaxy A90 5G design
The retail pack images of the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G were spotted online, and the image of the box gives us almost every specification of the phone, along with its design. The image of the phone also confirmed that it would have a waterdrop notch display. Also, it seems like the phone has some stainless steel frame on the edges to give it a premium feel design-wise. The rear side looks great too with a glass panel and a vertical triple-lens rear camera setup. The image shown on the box shows the phone in white color, and so far it’s not confirmed which other color variants the phone will be launched in.
Galaxy A90 5G specifications
Most of the key specifications of the phone are visible on the rear side of the retail box in the image. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. There was no fingerprint scanner visible on the rear side, so it’s going to have an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The A90 5G has an octa-core processor. However, the SoC on it isn’t known yet. But, given the earlier rumors about the phone, users can expect it to have a Snapdragon 855 SoC. The phone pictured in the retail box had a 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage, and there’s no information on which other variants will be available in terms of RAM/Memory.
The Galaxy A90 5G has a triple camera setup, with a 48 MP primary sensor along with an 8MP and a 5MP camera. One of these two will be an ultra-wide-angle lens, and another will be a depth sensor. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor. The phone’s battery capacity isn’t mentioned. It will support fast charging, which confirms the earlier leak made on Samsung website’s fast charger reveal. The battery capacity has not been mentioned, but the Galaxy A90 will support Super Fast Charging up to 45W fast charging like the Galaxy Note 10+. Stay tuned for more updates on the phone!
