In their quest to find new ways of marketing their smartphones, brands can come up with fabulous ideas. Samsung is doing it with its Samsung Galaxy A8s FE. The FE here is supposed to be Female Edition. To make the product more attractive to the female users, the rear panel on the original phone has been given a gradient color motif. This is official information and the CEO of the company had displayed the device to the media very recently.
Launch to be Limited to the China Market?
Reports indicate the South Korean giant is launching this phone in China on February 14, to mark the Valentine’s Day and this launch may be restricted just to the China market. This means Samsung is taking on some of its fiercest rivals in their own home market. There are some who believe the Samsung Galaxy A8s, which is still to be launched outside of the Chinese market, could be launched in the company’s home country South Korea by the end of this month. But this may be the first time a complete model is being dedicated to the female buyers. There are models, where some colors are meant to preferred by women, based on their tastes and past customer behavior.
Quite Decent Specifications
Samsung has packed the Galaxy A8s and by default the A8S with some impressive features starting with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display. And there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Soc processor and a healthy 8 GB RAM support. The onboard storage is 128 GB and the phone will run on the Android Pie version 9.0 OS. There is the triple camera setup in the rear and a 24 MP sensor in the front for selfies. A 3400 mAh battery powers the device. Galaxy A8s is also the first phone from the company with a punch-hole camera.
Smartphone marketers are resorting to all those tricks that consumer products employ to boost up the sales. The regular models are tweaked a bit and given some special names and released close to important events like the Chinese New Year or Friendship Day or other similar occasions. It helps with some advertising messages too for the companies in pushing the smartphones in the marketplace.
