Samsung 8K TV Goes on Sale this Month with Real 8K Resolution and New Improvements

The new Samsung 8K TV was announced back in August, and this amazing TV will finally be available for purchase later this month.

During the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin in Germany or as we all know it for, IFA, the South Korean tech giant announced its next generation of eye-catching televisions that will change how we watch our favorite shows on the TV.

Now, after a waiting period of a few months, Samsung is finally ready to get those 8k TVs on the UK market and make 4k TV users creep with their decisions.

According to the latest news regarding this TV, it will be available for pre-order starting with 3rd of October, but if you want to buy it yourself, you will find it in stores beginning with 17th of October.

The Q900R TV Samsung promises to delight us with will feature a Real 8K Resolution capable of up to 4,000 nit peak brightness, specs that is similar to what film studios are working with.

To help you understand what this TV does, we will compare it with a full HD TV and a 4K UHD TV. Compared with the full HD TV, the new TV from Samsung produces 16 times more pixels than it. When it comes to the 4K UHD TV, Samsung’s futuristic TV makes four times more pixels than it.

According to the Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, Jongsuk Chu, the team at Samsung has been working thoroughly for this TV to become the game changer in the industry so it would move forward. Thanks to the introduction of the QLED 8K with 8K AI Upscaling and its premium picture quality, their goal might be achieved soon.

The team at Samsung is also excited for the company’s fans to see this new TV which they are sure will bring them better sound, clarity, and brilliance in color with this new 8K-capable model.

How does the price look?

As you might have expected, this TV will not be as cheap as we got used to because the technology it features is more advanced than before.

However, if money is not a problem for you, the company says that the prices will start at £4,999.99 and the TV will be available for buying from selected retailers and their official site shop.samsung.com.

Apparently, LG is also planning on revealing an 8K TV according to their presence at IFA this year.

LG aims to combine a 7680×4320 resolution with the OLED technology into their new TV.

Brian Kwon, LG’s president of home entertainment, said that the release of their first 8K OLED TV would be the next evolutionary step in display technology.

In addition to that, he also said that the TV industry got reshaped thanks to the 4K OLED TVs, but now it is time to move even forward.

LG is expecting a sell of 5million 8K televisions by 2022.
