There’s no denying the fact that Rockstar Games’ Grand Auto Theft 6 is in the development stage. As far as the worldwide release of the game is concerned, GTA 6 will release in the year 2021 or later. However, the release date is not accurate as Rockstar didn’t even announce the game officially, yet.
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, said that the studio is trying to focus on speeding up the development process. It is unethical for the studio to take around eight years to curate a game from scratch. The gamers had to wait eight long years to get their hands on the sequel of Red Dead Series.
When it comes to releasing a game, Rockstar takes an enormous amount of time in order to receive positive feedback from gamers and critics. Rockstar likes it when the labor of curating a game with an appealing story receives a commercial and critical acclamation. According to online sources, GTA 6 is presently in the preliminary work, and this report dates back to 2016.
GTA 6 will feature a nostalgic map
Lately, there have been significant leaks concerning GTA 6 such as gameplay and graphics requirements. However, the most significant leak was about the map of the game. The leak from online sources suggests that GTA 6 will focus on the East Coast Side with Vice City and Liberty City. Rockstar Games is on the verge of curating the satire version of Miami and New York with Vice City and Liberty City, respectively.
There is a highly likely chance that the protagonist will be introduced initially as a small-time guy engaged in odd chores and petty crimes like small-time thefts. Moreover, he’d be a resident of Liberty City. Throughout the game, he will move to Vice City and join an influential gang.
If the leaks are valid, then GTA 6 will feature a map similar to its predecessor GTA 5. This also suggests that GTA 6 will bring San Fierro, Los Santos, Liberty City, Vice City, Las Venturas, among others. Rockstar Games is yet to confirm the leaks and the speculations that surround GTA 6.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 had an eight-year gap from the second game of the series. And the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 is 4X times bigger than the Red Dead Redemption (2010). The latest games from Rockstar are the sequels of its critically successful franchise like GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne. The new prequels and sequels come with engaging and immersive gameplay and significant changes like a bigger map, better guns, graphics, story, and gameplay.
