Process to reset old iPod nano, iPod mini and iPod classic

First make sure that the Hold switch is not in lock position. The problem can be easily solved once it is on. Now press and hold the Menu button and Select button together until the Apple logo appears on the screen. The resetting process in iPod nano, Classic, and mini follows the same process.

Process to reset iPod nano 7th & 6th version

Resetting the 7th and 6th generation is little different. You need to press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together in iPod nano 7th version. The screen will go dark and few moments later the white Apple logo will be appeared followed by home screen.

In order to reset the 6th version, press the sleep/Wake and Volume down button together to see the Apple logo.

Way to reset your iPod shuffle

Resetting is different and simple in this version of iPod. Just turn it off and On. That’s all. Swipe the switch to OFF. Wait for few seconds and slide it to play in order or Shuffle position.

Process to reset your iPod Touch

If the iPod Touch does not respond at all, and you can’t reset it by using the Sleep/Wake button and the switch Off slider, then press and hold the Sleep/wake button and Home button at the same time. Apple logo will be appeared on the screen before launching the Home Screen.

So, you can reset your iPod very easily just by following the above steps.
