When taking photos, the last thing you want to see on the pictures are red eyes. It’s annoying, and it may turn a great photo into a disastrous one. Modern cameras and smartphones have their own technology that will automatically remove the red eye issue. But we all have the photos that were taken a long time ago, with this exact issue.
For Mac users, Apple provided one amazing application that we can use to manage our photo album named iPhoto. iPhoto is one of iLife applications, which specially handles photos. Not only this app can create photo albums, so they can be nicely arranged, it also provides a handy editing tool we can use to make the photos even better. You can also remove the red eye problem! It’s called Fix Red-Eyes.
How to Remove Red Eye Issue on iPhoto
- Launch iPhoto, then choose the photo which has red eye issue, then click edit (1)
- click Fix Red-Eye (2)
- By default (1), this feature will automatically remove the red eye issue
- But if you want to remove the red tint on someone’s pupil, uncheck Auto-Fix-Red-Eye (1). Use slider (2) to adjust the size of the circle that is the perfect fit with the eye pupil.
- Click on that red pupil to make it disappear.
And you will get the photo without red eye
