Redmi Note 8T’s Design Leaked by These Surprising New Renders

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently released its Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro phones in India, and the phones have been doing amazingly well in the market. It has only been a few days since the news got out that Redmi will soon be launching another new smartphone under the Note 8 series named Redmi Note 8T in India. This was based on the tweets from tipsters. And now, in a series of yet another social media tips, renders of the previously hinted Note 8T have been leaked alongside renders of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The renders were leaked by Twitter handle Sudhanshu in a tweet yesterday.

As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 8T was first announced unofficially by tipsters who said that the phone would supposedly see a late 2019/early 2020 launch. The phone was also rumored to be powered by powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, but the rumors turned out to be false. And now these new renders have revealed the phone’s design as well as color variants alongside the Redmi Note 8 Pro.

As can be seen in the renders, the Redmi Note 8T is the one on the left side, with a vertical quad-camera system, fingerprint scanner, and Redmi logo. The two phones in the picture are almost identical if not for some slight variances. Both the Redmi Note 8T and Note 8 will reportedly have identical specs and the only differentiator between the two will be the NFC support in the 8T. It’s interesting how despite all these major leaks after leaks on the phone, Redmi has still not said even a word on the existence of the Note 8T.

Redmi Note 8 Specifications

The Redmi Note 8 is a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display phone that sports a small waterdrop notch which houses its 13MP front camera. The rear side has a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel lens as a primary sensor in its quad-camera setup. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the rear and comes with face unlocking as well. The display has a rich FHD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The phone comes with Android 9 Pie OS out of the box and has MIUI 10 (Android 10 is expected to come soon). The phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with up to 4 GB of RAM in various variants with up to 128 GB internal storage. As far as it comes to the Redmi Note 8T, Xiaomi hasn’t said anything yet, but users should expect some information on it in the coming days.GB internal storage.
