Through the last week, we were delighted to find out more leaks and rumors about future Android devices. And because it is hard to search on multiple sites, here is all we know about this week’s Android Circuit.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 and budget S10
Thanks to Galaxy S10, Samsung might come back to being the runner-up on the list of best smartphone producers.
Its key feature is going to be the five camera lenses from the premium model and here is what Gordon Kelly adds:
„The Bell says both models will have triple rear cameras and while the Galaxy S10 will have just one front facing the camera, the Galaxy S10 Plus will have two. Such a move would once again drive Samsung to the forefront of smartphone camera innovation. Something it has arguably conceded to Huawei’s P20 Pro and Google’s image processing in recent years.”
Samsung might also come up with a budget Galaxy S10 which’s price will be lower due to its fingerprint sensor not being mounted under the display but in the power button. It raises many questions.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Even though we have got used to 9th of August as Note 9’s release date, SamMobiles says something else:
„The Galaxy Note 9 may go up for sale on August 24… That would make the time between the Note 9’s announcement and release date smaller than it was last year for the Galaxy Note 8. The Galaxy Note 8 was unveiled on August 23 and hit retail three weeks later on September 15th. According to the report, sluggish Galaxy S9 sales are the reason Samsung decided to go with August 24 instead of August 31 after some deliberation.”
Samsung will also introduce a wide range of colors for buyers to choose from.
Nokia 5.1 Plus
HMD Global is both going to update its Nokia-branded Android handsets for 2018 but it also and expand the collection with a phablet-sized Nokia 5.1 Plus.
This model comes with a 5.86-inch display with a screen resolution of 720*1520 pixels. It is going to have an Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system and an Octa-core (2 GHz, Cortex A53, Cortex A73 2 GHz, Quad-core) processor.
It is reported to have a 3,000Ah battery with inbuilt storage of 32GB/64GB and 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM along with a 13 MP 5MP lenses camera, circular fingerprint sensor at the rear of the phone and a LED flash unit.
