PUBG Players are Disappointed as Crowd Favorite Snowbike is Removed from Vikendi

Playing a game in the public test server or any beta version of a title is bound to have some negative repercussions. A lot of things may not go as planned and the same happened for PUBG as the developers decided to remove one of the crowd favorite vehicles from Vikendi map.

Ever since its launch, the PUBG community has undergone massive transformation and is one of the most popular battle royale games of all time. The developers didn’t stop there as they brought the game to Xbox One, PS4 and mobile making it a great multiplayer title that you could play for free on smartphones. They continue to release new maps, vehicles and weapons to keep things interesting.

The snowy map Vikendi is an excellent addition compared to the dry, desert-like maps found in the game so far. The map pretty much reminds people of how it used to be in games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. In order to make it easier for players to move around snow, the team has added a snowbike. It looks fantastic, has an excellent design and is also much faster on the ground.

Snowbike Caused Gameplay Issues

If there’s something really bad about PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, it is the gameplay engine and mechanics on top of which the game has been built upon. Powered by a small team with a limited budget, it wasn’t the perfect multiplayer title that has numerous issues on the PC version as well as on consoles.

However, the gameplay keeps people engaged. The Snowbike, according to players in the Public Test Server, PTS, has caused lots of gameplay issues including glitches, performance issues and the way the bike works in the snowy terrain.

The developers of PUBG announced in their Twitter feed that they have removed the snowbike because of these issues. It might find its way back into the game in future if they manage to iron out all the issues and blend it with the gameplay. After all, being a competitive game, players expect it to work great with no lag, glitches as every move matters to enjoy the chicken dinner.

Vikendi is evolving as a different map with brand new gameplay due to its terrain and the way the map has been designed. It is competitive and should be a fun addition for PC players even though it will also be available on all platforms including PUBG mobile where millions of gamers login every day.
