If you are already on a PlayStation Plus subscription, you will get to download three games: Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania. These will work on the PS4 gaming consoles. For the record, there are 100 million PS4 owners out there and 30 million PlayStation Plus subscribers. All of them will get this benefit and with more games being added, Sony can hope that there would be more subscriptions on the way. The free download starts today, on June 4 and can be downloaded till July 2. The games bowing out of the subscriptions with these three coming in are Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch.
The Handsome Collection has two games, the Borderlands and Borderlands 2. These are FPS-RPG games with guns blazing away to glory. The additional benefits you get are that you can download the additional DLCs and your game levels on PS3 can be carried over. There is the Pre-Sequel also added for good measure. You can enjoy the cooperative gameplay as well.
With the Sonic Mania game, there will be more technology at play with the latest 2D sonic adventure. You will be able to enjoy the graphics in HD quality with a retro-style presentation at 60 FPS. There are several characters in the RPG type game and each gives you that excitement and thrill while steering through obstacles and reaching higher levels of the game. The game comes with some of the previous gameplay retained while new additions have been made too. Dr Eggman’s evil robot army cannot be missed.
As far as the modes are concerned, you get the Competition mode and the Co-Op mode to play the Sonic Mania game. Sony will release new games in the month of July. This will give you the advantage of enjoying new games each month and your unending thirst for playing games is quenched in this manner. If you are yet to subscribe to PlayStation Plus, this might be the best time to go for one and take benefit of the free downloads the company is offering.
