People Are Asking for a Cheaper Pixel

It’s 2017 and as you probably know, smartphones are quite expensive. Let’s take for example the iPhone 8, which upon its release will be the most expensive smartphone ever made by Apple. Besides, the Galaxy Note 8 will also cost more than $1,000, which is a huge amount. The Google Pixel products are not that cheap either, especially when you include the old Nexus phones. There are indeed other cheaper options in the Android world, but if you want to own a flagship device you have to pay a lot.

A Reasonable Alternative

There is, of course, the OnePlus 5 device, which is definitely cheaper than the flagship handsets you can find on the market. At the same time, it is more expensive than the OnePlus 3T, its smaller counterpart. However, many people think that Google could do a great job with their Pixel phones if they made them a little bit cheaper.

If we were to be honest, everybody loves the Nexus phones. Even though they weren’t quite the best, but even so, they offered usability and value for money. The 6P model was rather expensive, and for good reason if you look at its specs, but the most popular one remains the Nexus 5.

A Cheaper Pixel?

According to some rumors, Google is getting as much as three Pixels for 2017. In this context, many fans hope that at least one of them would be a mid-range one, costing less than $450. The tech giant indeed has the ability to do so, since it gains enough with Android to take on some possible losses.

In all honesty, a cheaper version of the Pixel would be perfect for the huge amount of phones priced at more than $1,000. Some compromises with the specs and everybody should be happy.
