All fans of custom Android ROMs will know that Paranoid Android is simply the best one there is. If you’re a user or at least follow tech new, you know that Paranoid Android version 7.2.0 changed the game entirely and added support for so many new devices, it’s hard to recall them all now. Well, there’s a new update available now for version 7.2.1, and here’s why you should get it.
While this new version of Paranoid Android isn’t as impressively new or surprising as 7.2.0, there was still added support for a few new devices. You will notice that one in particular is a most pleasant surprise.
- suzu for Sony Xperia X;
- kugo for Sony Xperia X Compact;
- hammerhead for the Nexus 5.
If you’re a fan of custom Android ROMs, the pleasant surprise is the added Nexus 5 support, of course. The Nexus 5 smartphone produced by Google is now old and almost useless, but still a paradise for custom ROMs. So if you still have one lying around somewhere, go get it and put Paranoid Android 7.2.1 on it right now. You’ll enjoy it tremendously we assure you.
As for the other two additions, the Sony Xperia line is also one that has potential when paired with a custom ROM. So we applaud the developers for their choices once again, but the Nexus 5 still remains the best surprise here.
Another notable change made by Paranoid Android 7.2.1 to what had been laid down by version 7.2.0 consisted in the bug fixes. This might not seem important enough to mention, but we assure you it is. As any tech junkie will tell you, bug fixes might go unnoticed, but they are crucial changes, so we’re glad this version of the ROM got some as well.
