Those who own smart watches have probably noticed that the range of bracelets available for certain models is not very big. And if you’re not a fan of metal, silicone, or skin, you might like wood. This is what the folks at Ottm thought when they’ve started to produce wooden bracelets for smartwatches.
The company claims that these bracelets are handmade and are compatible with many Android Wear, Pebble or Apple watches.
Ottm will collect the necessary funds for the production through a campaign launched on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. So far, the company has raised up 96% of the amount requested, which is $7000.
The bracelets will be available in three versions, Maple, Zebrawood, and Sandalwood. The cheapest, Maple, costs only $25, without the shipping costs. For $99 you get all three models. Purchased separately, Zebrawood will cost $39 while Sandalwood 65 dollars.
And that’s not all. Ottm promises to plant a tree in a national park for each bracelet that they sell.
