OPPO is rapidly broadening their line-up of Reno phones across the globe. The brand has successfully launched the Reno, Reno 10x Zoom, and the new Reno 5G in the past. OPPO has now launched a new budget-friendly variant of Reno known as Reno Z.

OPPO Reno Z: Price and Release Date

According to online reports, the OPPO Reno Z is priced at €150, which sums up to about $167. The sale of the phone will begin in Europe in the month of June but no date has been specified yet. However, there is no news regarding the launch of the OPPO Reno Z in the other market segments.

OPPO Reno Z: Features and Specifications

Reno Z is powered with a 10 mm Snapdragon 710 processor in conjugation with Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU. The phone also features a  6.4-inch AMOLED display. The phone offers a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9 along with a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The phone comes with a notch display and a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear camera of the phone has a dual camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. OPPO Reno Z has a glass rear with O-Dot ceramic point for the protection of the camera sensors when laid flat on the surface.

The phone is in direct competition with the recently launched Vivo Z5x, which is also powered with Snapdragon 710 processor and costs $200, approximately. However, the biggest competition comes from the  Realme 3 Pro, which is priced at $200 as well. Realme, also a brand of OPPO,  has been positioned as a separate brand, and this makes the competition even more interesting.

Moreover, OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno X with 10X zoom will be launching in India on May 28th. OPPO Reno will be powered with Snapdragon 710 and Reno X will have Snapdragon 855 processor, in India.
